During times of crisis, Columbia and Richmond County families rely on Dr. Mark Newton.
For over fifteen years, Dr. Newton has served as the Chairman and Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Doctor’s Hospital. He leads a team of 24 physicians and providers, plus over 80 nurses, providing care for over 60,000 patients per year.
In an effort to enhance access to care while keeping healthcare costs affordable, Dr. Newton opened MedNow Urgent Care in Evans. To date, MedNow has three locations strategically placed throughout the CSRA.
As our State Representative, he will prescribe conservative solutions to our state’s pressing healthcare challenges. Dr. Newton will work to expedite Columbia County’s hospital, strengthen Augusta University, support our hospitals, and ensure a bright and healthy future for our children and grandchildren!
